A collection of printed and pleated fabrics for fashion inspired by the
international architecture in Tel Aviv. The pleated prints, sheer fabrics and layering games portray the feeling of walking in the city, the ever changing views and magical moments. The lenticular technique was inspired by Yaacov Agam’s kinetic works that are a part of the Tel Avivian scenery.
This collection is dedicated to all the people who feel that the architecture in Tel Aviv is a part of their identity.
Hey there, I'm Tal, a textile designer based in Rotterdam Netherlands, a recent graduate from Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art where I studied textile design majoring in print making. I'm inspired by life in the city, travel, music, nature and art. I love how diverse the textile world is, incorporating old traditions with new technologies. I try to use a variety of techniques in my designs from drawing, screen printing, pleating, crocheting, embroidery, weaving, sewing and photography to using design software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator and 3D modelling (Rhino, 123D make & SketchUp).
